1999 International Analog VLSI Workshop The Grand Hotel, Taipei, Taiwan May 5-7, 1999 ****************************************** CALL FOR PARTICIPATION ****************************************** You are invited to participate in the 1999 International Analog VLSI Workshop (AVLSIWS'99), which will be held from May 5 to 7 and in Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C.. The purpose of this workshop is the exchange of information, ideas and recent research results on analog VLSI circuits and their applications. The main objective is to provide an informal setting for a group of analog VLSI specialists from both industry and academia worldwide, to meet and brainstorm. Papers will be presented in the following topics: Amplifiers, Filters, Multipliers, Voltage References, A/D and D/A Converters, Analog Signal and Information Processing Applications, RF, etc. A one-day tutorial for three short courses will be held on Wednesday, May 5. The courses are: (1) CAD Tools for Analog and Mixed-Signal IC Design Prof. Georges Gielen (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium) (2) Analog RF Circuit Techniques for Wireless Applications Mr. Satoshi Tanaka (Hitachi Ltd., Japan) (3) Design Techniques for Integrated Low-Voltage Continuous-Time Filter Dr. Hiroshi Tanimoto and Tetsuro Itakura (Toshiba Corp., Japan) Two special talks will be accessible in this workshop, including: Keynote Speech: Perspectives of Taiwan IC Industry Dr. Jyuo-Min Shyu (Electronics Research & Service Organization of Industrial Technology Research Institute, Taiwan) Invited Speech: Systematic Design of Analog Macrocells Prof. Georges Gielen (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium) WORKSHOP REGISTRATION: Early registration must be received by APRIL 2.
