--------------------------------- | 2ND CALL FOR PAPERS | --------------------------------- IEEJ 1998 ANALOG VLSI WORKSHOP ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ June 5-6, 1998, DAYS INN, Santa Clara, California, USA The Research Committee on Electronic Circuits of The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan (IEEJ) is sponsoring the second Analog VLSI Workshop to be held at DAYS INN, Santa Clara, California, USA, June 5-6, 1998. The purpose of the Workshop is the exchange of information, ideas and recent research results on analog VLSI circuits and their applications. This workshop provides an informal setting for a group of analog VLSI specialists from both industry and academia worldwide, to meet and brainstorm. The work does not have to be complete, e.g. results from a test chip are not mandatory. The topics for the Workshop include but are not limited to: Amplifiers, Filters, Comparator, Multipliers, Voltage References, Sample-And-Hold Circuits, A/D and D/A Converters, Consumer Electronics, Mixed Analog and Digital Circuits, Analog Circuit Simulators, Analog Signal and Information Processing Applications(Telecommunication, Multimedia, Consumer, Medical, Automotive, Space, Military, etc.) Authors are requested to send a 100-word abstract together with information including the complete title, author name(s), affiliation(s) of author(s), and corresponding author (name, postal and e-mail addresses, telephone/fax numbers) to the following Secretariat by February 20, 1998. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Author's Kit will be sent after the Secretariat receives the above information. The official language is English only. The deadline for camera-ready manuscript is March 31, 1998. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ It is mandatory that the submitted paper should be presented at the Workshop. Registration fee is $250, which covers proceedings, continental breakfast and buffet-style lunch for the two workshop days, and banquet. Discount rate for full-time students is $100. The discount rate covers continental breakfast and buffet-style lunch only. Additional $50 must be paid when they attend the banquet. After the Workshop, The International Journal of Analog Integrated Circuits and Signal Processing (ALOG published by Kluwer Academic Publishers) will publish a Special Issue of the papers selected from those presented at this 2nd Analog VLSI Workshop. The papers can be revised or extended from the originals presented at this Workshop. Further information can be obtained from the Secretariat by e-mail or FAX.
